Fleece

After 20 years of breeding and selling fleece directly to hundreds of crafts people over the years, we have chosen a few significant retailers to sell our fleece.  It just gives us more time to develop our breeding programs and focus on other things.

In the Sheep we have added English Leicesters to our flock of already spectacular Corriedales in the full range of colours.  These "Ellies" are in collaboration with Mandie and John of Ewe Give me the Knits, in Tongala, Victoria.    Between us we will breed the sheep and Mandie will be selling the bulk of the wool they produce.

However check out the Retail Fleece section, as I will keep a few fleeces aside to spread the love.  All our fleeces are carefully breed on sheep that are sound, healthy, unmulesed, and unhoused.  They produce well nourished, soft handling fleeces that are exceptionally clean due to our land management and timing of shearing.

Our Alpaca fleeces are from our small herd of Alpacas, which we keep as a sideline.  Once again, the timing of the shearing and land management we employ, means that these fleeces are as clean and free from VM as uncoated animals will allow.  There will always be dust, as they love to roll, but there is very little Vegetable Matter.
